About Marylebone Health Centre

receptionThe Centre was opened in 1987 to help provide for the needs of the local community. It was re-opened in February 2000 following expansion and refurbishment of the premises. It is a National Health Service (NHS) centre, providing most services free of charge to all UK nationals, and to residents from other countries having reciprocal agreement with the UK.

The practice has a partnership contract with Westminster PCT, it is funded by and accountable to this organisation, and subject to their goals, rules and guidelines. The doctors are all general medical practitioners (GPs). The GP's and Practice Nurses provide core NHS health care, and link with community and hospital-based teams. In addition, pending appropraite assessment the practice offers a counselling and complementary therapy service. We are committed to improving healthcare through innovation, research and education.

We aim to work in partnership with patients in the management of their health care. Although we are located in a Church, we are a non-denominational organisation, and we welcome individuals from every background and every belief, both as patients and as staff.

We hope to use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
