Routine Appointments
Simply telephone or call in to make an appointment. These are booked at 10 minute intervals. We aim to offer a routine appointment within 48 hours (this may not always be with the doctor of your choice). Longer appointments can sometimes be arranged in special circumstances.
Although you will be registered with one doctor, you may see any doctor you choose. We recommend you try to see the same doctor each time, as far as possible, so that you have better continuity of care. Please tell the receptionist if you need time for more than one person (e.g. if bringing children) so that adequate time is allocated.
Urgent Appointments
From Monday to Friday, spaces are reserved for patients with conditions needing urgent medical advice and attention. These spaces are not to be used for long-standing medical problems: problems that could wait a day or two: medical certificates: or repeat prescriptions. If you think you need to be seen the same day, please try to telephone before 10.00am. It may not always be possible to see the doctor of you choice.
